CHAPTER 01 / MY FIRST STARTUPGORAIN TECHNOLOGY · GT RESTRO
Founding Engineer Full Stack Developer

From beta.
To the dinner rush.

My first startup. A restaurant operating system. The challenge: help turn a beta into a product teams could rely on through a busy service.

My contribution, as part of a 5-engineer team.

Razorpay integration with verified webhooks and reconciliation. JWT, OAuth and RBAC, with tenant isolation across data access and middleware.

Beta → production.

Within our five-engineer team, I fixed 200+ bugs, added RabbitMQ background jobs, and helped reduce peak-hour downtime by roughly 20–30% through auto-scaling.

Across the stack.

ScaleLab

ScaleLab dashboard during a running autoscaling test, showing traffic, latency, API CPU, pod counts and test controls.
Grafana monitoring dashboard showing Kubernetes pods scaling up alongside CPU, traffic, latency and memory charts.
ScaleLab live telemetry with request throughput, response latency, rising pod counts, CPU, errors and database query latency.

A PLAYGROUND FOR REAL TRAFFIC

Turn up traffic. Watch it adapt.

Send thousands of requests to a real app. Watch its speed, database pressure and capacity change—and learn how scaling works.

  2. 02Run a test
  3. 03Watch it scale
10K read reqs / secTested to handle up to 10,000 read requests per second
Auto-scaleKubernetes adds application instances as demand rises

THE TOOLS THAT MAKE IT WORK

  • Kubernetes HPAAutomatic scaling
  • k6Real traffic generation
  • Redis + PostgreSQLCached reads & sharded data
  • Prometheus + GrafanaApp & infrastructure metrics
The engineering underneath

I built the application, load controller, observability dashboard and infrastructure. The hardest part: running write-heavy tests without corrupting the demo store.

Isolated benchmark products, transactional stock updates, PostgreSQL shards and automatic cleanup make those experiments repeatable. React · TypeScript · Node.js · Prometheus · Grafana · Docker.

A BUG REPORT BECOMES AN INVESTIGATION

A bug report in. Evidence out.

Describe what went wrong. Trace follows the code, tests backend bugs, and returns the likely cause with the exact source evidence.

THE TOOLS THAT MAKE IT WORK

  • LangGraphBounded agent workflows
  • GitHub ActionsIsolated test execution
  • Focused code RAGRelevant code & validated citations
  • FastAPI + GroqPython API & AI inference
The engineering underneath

I built the agent, retrieval pipeline, reproduction sandbox, interface and buggy target app. The hardest part: distinguishing an actual application bug from a broken generated test.

Deterministic classification, bounded repairs and validated citations keep the diagnosis grounded. Generated tests run in GitHub Actions, never on the agent server. Frontend reports return source-backed hypotheses.

Working V0 prototype. 38 agent tests and 8 target-app tests passing. Evaluation results are controlled cases, not production-user outcomes.

    Curiosity

    Early years

    1 / 8

    School — Curiosity Takes Shape

School was where my curiosity began to take shape—through classroom questions, shared experiences, and friendships that stayed with me as I found my way into technology.

  2. 02

    Learning

    College years

    1 / 12

    College — Learning to Build

College introduced me to programming, while projects taught me how to use it. I learned by building, debugging, breaking things, and trying again.

  3. 03

    Industry

    Jun 2024 — Nov 2024

    1 / 4

    Internship — Entering the Industry

At ARC Document Solutions, I worked with Java automation, Jenkins CI/CD, Agile delivery, and production support — learning how professional engineering teams build and maintain software.

    1 / 3

First Startup — Becoming a Product Builder

At Gorain Technology, I moved beyond isolated tasks and helped build GT Restro across cloud, Electron, mobile, shared backend services, real-time workflows, payments, printing, and restaurant operations.

    Now & Next

I’m continuing to build stronger products and deepen my understanding of scalable systems, backend architecture, real-time applications, infrastructure, and AI workflows.

Different moments. Same mindset — solve meaningful problems and ship products I’m proud to stand behind.
